WeedFighter technology needs to be tested for field use

At WeedFighter, we take pride in our patented weed control technology, which combines steam, a biodegradable accelerator, and microwaves. Our WeedFighter Pro machine offers an efficient and sustainable solution against weeds, and our technology has already proven its worth in urban areas under municipal management.

In an exciting collaboration with Aarhus University (AU Flakkebjerg) under the leadership of Bo Melander, our method will be tested at the field level. The goal is to explore the technology’s potential in agriculture, including the possibility of halting potato growth as an alternative to glyphosate, desiccation of fields before the next crop, and weed control in orchards.

We provide the technology and machine for these experiments, while AU handles the practical aspects. We are excited about the project’s focus on green transformation, as our technology has the potential to significantly reduce energy consumption and weed control costs compared to other known methods.
